Earnings Outlook Remains Upbeat: A Closer Look

Own ON Semiconductor For AI Power, Or Own Micron's Contracts?

ON Semiconductor (ON) and Micron Technology (MU) are owned for the same reason. AI data centers need more silicon than the industry can make, and both sell into that shortage. The resemblance stops there. Micron has signed part of its peak pricing into multiyear contracts. What matters is what owning the stock does to your money when the market moves, because SanDisk travels much further than the index in both directions.

Micron Technology (MU) Draws Michael Burry Short As Memory Price Warning Grows

Michael Burry expanded short positions against Micron Technology (NasdaqGS:MU) and several semiconductor peers, according to recent regulatory filings. He has cautioned that rising chip production could ease supply constraints and put pressure on memory pricing across the sector. Burry's bearish stance directly challenges bullish expectations tied to AI-related demand for Micron's memory and storage products. Burry's expanded short against Micron and memory pricing is important, but...
