SpaceX stock was rising 1.8% to $137.47 in premarket trading Tuesday ahead of the launch of 29 Starlink satellites to low-Earth orbit from Cape Canaveral, Fl. Starlink is SpaceX’s low-Earth orbit (LEO) satellite internet constellation, designed to deliver high-speed, low-latency broadband to areas where traditional cable or fiber infrastructure is unavailable or unreliable.

<body><p>STORY: From robots racing and wrestling, to a new competitor for SpaceX, this is Tech Weekly.</p><p>Robots gathered in Beijing to compete at the World Humanoid Robot Games.</p><p>In the 100 meters, one android beat Usain Bolt’s world record time.&nbsp;</p><p>Though the race did seem to take a toll on competitors.</p><p>Other events were more unique to robots, including a bean-picking battle that put dexterity skills to the test.</p><p>A separate event in Beijing focused on more practical tasks.</p><p>Visitors to the World Robot Conference saw bots sorting parcels, arranging flowers and doing household chores.</p><p>That marked a change from previous years, when the focus had been more on dance performances and the like.</p><p>Over 300 mostly Chinese firms attended the event.</p><p>Meanwhile, Chinese robot maker Unitree saw extraordinary gains on its stock market debut.</p><p>Shares in the firm leapt more than five-fold following the IPO in Shanghai.</p><p>Speaking later, Unitree boss Wang Xingxing said there would soon be a “ChatGPT moment” for robots, when they would explode into everyday use.</p><p>Chinese startup LandSpace successfully landed the first stage of its Zhuque-3 rocket.</p><p>That makes it the third firm after SpaceX and Blue Origin to recover a large booster.</p><p>It’s a lift for the company as it too looks into listing on the stock market.</p><p>And Amazon is extending drone delivery to hundreds more locations in the U.S.</p><p>The latest version of its drone delivers parcels without landing, dropping them from a few feet above the ground.</p><p>Critics worry about safety and noise, but Amazon says the flying bots are quieter than a lawnmower.</p></body>
