Bitcoin’s correlation with the S&P 500 has fallen to its lowest since 2015, a rare signal Bitwise says could point to further upside despite near-term risks.

AbbVie (ABBV) trades at $256.46, roughly 96% of its 52-week high, after returning 24.1% over the past twelve months against 19.7% for the S&P 500. That price buys a business where about a third of guided 2026 revenue comes from one drug. The market reads that concentration as strength. It is worth reading it the other way too.

GinsGlobal Index Fund CEO Anthony Ginsberg tells Proactive's Stephen Gunnion that the GinsGlobal Tech Megatrend UCITS ETF (ITEK) fund is up approximately 13% year-to-date and gained more than 5% in August alone, with AI and robotics remaining the top sub-theme at nearly 50% year-to-date gains. Ginsberg said the fund's average price-to-earnings ratio is in the low 20s, which he describes as only a small premium to the S&P 500, arguing that tech is not overvalued at current levels. Beyond AI and robotics, Ginsberg highlighted cybersecurity, defence tech, blockchain and gene editing as strong performers in August, pointing to a broadening rotation across the tech ecosystem. He cited a global AI infrastructure buildout of close to one trillion dollars in the current year, driven partly by cloud spending and M&A activity, with NVIDIA among the companies making recent acquisitions. Ginsberg emphasised the fund's equal-weighting approach as a key differentiator, noting that its top 10 holdings represent just over 12% of the portfolio, compared with north of 50% or even 60% for some rival tech funds. The fund holds roughly 60% in US equities and approximately 22% in Asia, including Japan, China and South Korea, with Ginsberg arguing that per-capita cloud spending in Asia already surpasses the US and Europe in some cases. On the outlook, Ginsberg said tailwinds include a resilient US economy, lower corporate taxes supporting capital expenditure, a weaker US dollar boosting earnings for American tech firms, and the prospect of stable or lower interest rates supporting further M&A. He also flagged anticipated IPOs from Anthropic and OpenAI as likely catalysts for additional corporate spending across the sector. One S&P 500-based ETF has quietly been outpacing both the SPY and the QQQ year after year, and the structural reason behind its edge suggests the run is far from over.

HWM's 26.5% year-to-date rally is backed by aerospace demand and raised 2026 guidance, though rich valuation and SpaceX competition pose risks.

Rocket Lab (RKLB) trades near $64, about 57% below the high it set inside the last year, though it is still up 49.5% over twelve months against 19.7% for the S&P 500. The business did not break along the way. What changed is the wait: how long before Neutron flies, and how much cash goes out first.

Freighters are in focus after five people tragically died after an Amazon.com cargo plane, operated by 21 Air, overshot the runway at Miami International Airport on Sunday, striking vehicles as it crashed through a perimeter fence. The plane was a Boeing 767 jet that was built in 1994 and converted into a freighter in 2015. The 767 was Boeing’s original twin-engine widebody aircraft, competing with the Airbus A300.
