QMCO is seeing strong ActiveScale and tape-storage growth, while IBM benefits from AI-driven data demand amid different risks and growth dynamics.

Quantum computing is still in its early innings, but IonQ and IBM are already building the hardware and infrastructure that could power the next decade of growth.

Accenture (ACN) stock has rallied about 23% over the past three months. Over the past twelve months it is still down 17%, while the S&P 500 gained 17%. Owners feel relief, and those who missed it feel left behind.

That's according to a just-released analysis by agency research firm COMvergence.

Following a brutal 2026, the five-year case comes down to reaccelerating software growth and a 31-year dividend streak.

IonQ (IONQ) shares rose 9.5% on Thursday, closing at $40.34 after six sessions that had mostly gone the other way. The reason on offer was research: quantum algorithms running inside mainstream engineering software, developed with Synopsys, sped up complex industrial design by up to 14.6%. That is genuine progress. It is also not a sale, and the price you pay for IonQ already assumes a great many sales.

NetApp (NTAP) has spent years quietly retiring its own stock while the attention went to its flash arrays and AI deals. The stock is not quiet now: it has gained about 92% over the trailing six months and sits roughly 5% below its 52-week high. Fewer shares mean each one carries more of the profit. The question is what that is worth at this price.

Rigetti Computing (RGTI) sells quantum computing systems into a market its own management calls early, which makes the buy question hard to answer. You cannot lean on earnings, because Rigetti loses money, which leaves its price-to-earnings ratio meaningless. You can measure what you pay for each dollar of sales. Here is that walk, one step at a time.

Accenture (ACN) stock has returned 50% since the middle of June, while the S&P 500 returned about 1%. Even after that run, near $190, it sits about a third below its 52-week high. The run started at $126.46, just above the 52-week low, so part of the gain is a bounce. Even so, a move that big usually follows a quarter that changed something. Accenture's last results came on June 18, the day this run began, and it has not reported a quarter since.

IonQ's collaboration with NVIDIA on quantum optimization just sent the entire pure-play sector surging, but the market signal that actually reveals whether this is a real industry shift or just a speculative bet on one company's research is hiding in plain sight.
IBM Lands $1 Billion Quantum Award as IonQ Stock Rises on AI Breakthrough

NVIDIA's new CUDA-Q Logical software links GPUs with quantum processors to tackle error correction, potentially benefiting IonQ, Rigetti, and D-Wave as hybrid computing advances.

Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) stock has run from about $24 to roughly $62 over the past year, a gain of about 159% against close to 19% for the S&P 500. That move was legible in advance, but only one place told you which way. The order book moved long before the profit line did.

Dell Technologies (DELL) has returned more than 360% over the past year and now sits right at the top of its 52-week range. Measured against sales it is still cheaper than the S&P 500. Measured against the cash it produces, it costs about twice the index. Both readings describe the same company, and the gap is the decision.
When Angelo Bianco’s real estate firm CP Group bought the Boca Raton Innovation Campus eight years ago, he said he saw the opportunity to turn a “broken-down has-been” into “an Apple or Google campus.” CP Group went on to bring a surge of activity to the massive business park, known as BRiC, envisioning many improvements and attracting new businesses. Now, with the recently announced sale of ...
