Barrick (GOLD) Stock Could Be 24% Overvalued On Cash Flow Questions

Barrick Mining has delivered a powerful share price run over the past few years, yet the real question for investors is whether that move lines up with the cash the business can generate. With the stock now around US$42.49, the focus turns to what its cash flows can reasonably support. Over the past 3 years the share price has gained 210.2%, which puts a lot of weight on whether Barrick Mining’s cash generation can keep backing that kind of re-rating. The investment case now leans heavily on...

Silver Range identifies new carlin-style Gold targets at Utah’s Drum project

Silver Range Resources CEO Mike Power joined Steve Darling from Proactive to provide an update on the company's Drum Gold Project in central Utah, where a comprehensive review of historical exploration data has identified several promising targets for follow-up exploration. Power said the company has completed an extensive compilation and analysis of historical datasets generated by previous operators, including Goldfields Limited, Newmont Mining and Troymet Minerals. The historical database includes 41 drill holes, 476 surface rock samples, 1,121 soil samples and multiple geophysical surveys, including gravity, magnetic and VLF-EM datasets. The review has provided Silver Range with a significantly enhanced understanding of the project's geology and mineralization controls, helping the company refine its exploration strategy and prioritize areas for future work. According to Power, gold mineralization at the Drum Project is Eocene in age and exhibits many of the same geological and geochemical characteristics associated with Nevada's prolific Carlin Trend, one of the world's most productive gold districts. Previous exploration programs largely focused on identifying stratigraphically controlled gold mineralization within favorable rock units. However, Silver Range's analysis indicates that some of the strongest gold intercepts encountered in historical drilling are associated with structurally controlled mineralization rather than solely stratigraphic targets. As a result, the company plans to concentrate future exploration efforts on identifying and defining structurally controlled Carlin-style gold systems across the property. Power noted that several major Nevada gold deposits, including the world-class Goldstrike Mine and the emerging Fourmile Deposit, are examples of significant structurally controlled Carlin-style mineralization systems. The company believes similar geological processes may have operated at Drum, creating the potential for higher-grade gold zones associated with faulting and structural corridors. To advance the project, Silver Range plans to undertake a comprehensive field program focused on geological mapping, structural interpretation and alteration studies. Additional prospecting, soil geochemistry and geophysical surveys are also planned to refine target areas and generate new drill-ready opportunities. The upcoming exploration work is designed to improve the company's understanding of the controls on mineralization and identify priority drill targets capable of testing the potential for larger Carlin-style gold systems at Drum. #proactiveinvestors #silverrangeresources #tsxv #sng #mining #mikepower #GoldExploration #DrumProject #UtahMining #CarlinStyleGold #GoldMining #NevadaGold #ResourceStocks #JuniorMining #ExplorationNews #MiningStocks #PreciousMetals #Geology #GoldDiscovery

Newmont (NEM) Fourmile Resolution Looks Underappreciated By The Market

Newmont (NYSE:NEM) has resolved uncertainty around its Fourmile project interests involving Barrick Mining, closing a major project question mark. UBS views the clarification of Fourmile ownership and collaboration terms as a meaningful shift in Newmont’s long term project pipeline. The bank also argues this Fourmile agreement is not yet fully reflected in how the market prices Newmont’s future prospects. The Fourmile resolution matters, but it should sit alongside other Newmont factors in...

Gold miners and bitcoin stocks fall on strong jobs data

Investing.com -- Gold mining and crypto-linked equities skidded Friday as a blowout U.S. jobs report dampened expectations for monetary easing, lifting implied odds of a Fed rate hike next week to 60% from 52%. The Labor Department reported nonfarm payrolls surged by 162,000 last month, dwarfing the consensus forecast of 55,000. While the resilient labor market signals economic strength, Fed funds futures swiftly repriced policy expectations. Traders now see a 60% probability of a rate hike at n
