Wells Fargo Bank is appointing Chief Operating Officer Scott Powell as its next chief risk officer. Powell will succeed Derek Flowers, who is retiring from the bank in January, it said Wednesday. The company said Powell’s successor as operating chief will be appointed “in the near future.”
