Guidance for next quarter’s revenue was better than expected at $827.5 million at the midpoint, 0.8% above analysts’ estimates. Its non-GAAP profit of $2.37 per share was 13.9% above analysts’ consensus estimates.

Micron and SK Hynix stock were rising ahead of the open Thursday after earnings from Alphabet and signs of continued spending on memory helped ease fears that have hung over chip makers. SK Hynix was outdoing its U.S. rival, though the Korean memory giant has been susceptible to bigger swings recently, since it made its debut in the U.S. stock market earlier this month. Micron stock gained 3.5% in premarket trading on Thursday with SK Hynix’s American Depositary Receipts (ADRs) up 6.7%.

T-Mobile Stock Falls. What’s Overshadowing Earnings Beat.

T-Mobile US stock was sliding on Thursday after the wireless carrier reported softer-than-expected second-quarter revenue, overshadowing an earnings beat. T-Mobile reported adjusted earnings of $2.99, as revenue climbed 7.9% from a year ago to $22.8 billion. T-Mobile also said it now expects full-year adjusted free cash flow of between $18.4 billion and $18.8 billion, up from prior guidance of $18.1 billion to $18.7 billion.
