Google said on Wedneday that it plans to invest at least €13 billion in Finland over the next two years to expand its AI infrastructure.

Google will invest at least 13 billion euros in data centres and other digital infrastructure to power its AI ambitions in Finland, in what the US tech giant called Wednesday its biggest single investment in Europe.The $15 billion plan also calls for clean energy projects over the next two years, which Google said was "a testament to Finland's leadership in responsibly building AI infrastructure".

The tech giant announced a 13 billion-euro ($15 billion) investment in artificial-intelligence infrastructure in Finland, in a blog post Wednesday. The company leads the way among its peers, though, committing to long-term spending of $811 billion for technical infrastructure and inventory as well as energy contracts and content licenses, Barron’s recently reported.
