And every time I visited the U.S., stopping by a Chipotle to eat became a must because as you’re walking down the streets, you’re exploring, and you get really hungry, and it’s just such a great option, so that’s what started catching my attention. It became a regular thing, and I became a huge fan. The reality is that it has meant a lot of work and a lot of research. How does Chipotle’s value proposition connect with Mexican consumers? And when we discovered that consumers in Monterrey are young people with close ties to U.S. culture, who are already familiar with the brand and value the characteristics that make it unique.”</p><p>The fast food chain will offer diners burritos, bowls, tacos, salads and quesadillas at their new spot located inside a mall in San Pedro Garza Garcia.</p><p>Long lines formed outside the restaurant on opening day as customers waited to place orders, many of them already familiar with the brand through visits to the U.S.</p><p>Alsea, Chipotle's local operator, whose portfolio includes Domino's Pizza, Starbucks and Burger King in Europe and Latin America, operates more than 4,830 locations and will serve as the development and expansion partner for the California-based chain.</p></body>
