Jim Cramer Says Meta's $17 Billion Child Safety Settlement 'Could Have Been Disastrous,' Instead It's 'Barely Material to Earnings'

CNBC host Jim Cramer said Meta Platforms Inc.‘s (NASDAQ:META) $17 billion child safety settlement will likely have a smaller financial impact than many investors expect, calling it “barely material” to the company’s earnings once spread over a decade. ‘It Could Have Been Disastrous’ Cramer said the settlement could end up being far smaller once spread over its full ten-year term, saying it is “not impactful” compared to what he originally feared. “It could have been disastrous,” he said in a pos

"It will not keep pace with an evolving technology," Blumenthal told CBS News' Face the Nation.

Reddit (RDDT) Stock Looks Fairly Valued Following Fresh AI Content News

Reddit stock has had a weak start to the year, with the share price down 36.7% year to date, while broad valuation checks suggest the stock is not a clear bargain at current levels. The year to date decline of 36.7% raises the question of whether Reddit is now priced for too much caution or simply moving closer to a fairer trading range. The recent focus on Reddit content within Meta's planned Hatch AI agent can support long term monetisation hopes, while the key risk is that content...
