Power management chips maker Monolithic Power Systems (NASDAQ:MPWR) reported Q2 CY2026 results beating Wall Street’s revenue expectations, with sales up 47.6% year on year to $980.6 million. On top of that, next quarter’s revenue guidance ($1.15 billion at the midpoint) was surprisingly good and 16.5% above what analysts were expecting. Its non-GAAP profit of $6.50 per share was 10.5% above analysts’ consensus estimates.

Amazon.com topped market expectations for quarterly cloud revenue growth on Thursday on the back of surging enterprise AI spending, signaling the company's hefty investments ‌were bearing fruit. Revenue at its cloud computing unit, Amazon Web Services, jumped 37% ‌to $42.2 billion in the second quarter ended June 30, compared with analysts' consensus estimate of a 31.21% increase, according to ​data compiled by LSEG. Amazon said it burned $7.6 billion of cash on a trailing twelve months basis in the second quarter, compared to $18.2 billion in free cash flow a year earlier.
