Meta will also enhance measures to prevent children from accessing age-restricted content.</p><p>The settlement does not require Meta, which denied wrongdoing in agreeing to settle, to abandon personalized recommendations or targeted advertising. The total payout represents about three to four months of profit for the Menlo Park, California-based company.</p></body>
