Nextech3D.ai: 160 new contracts, 92% margins, biggest deal ever due August

Nextech3D.AI (CSE:NTAR, OTCQX:NEXCF, FRA:1SS) CEO Evan Gappelberg tells Proactive's Stephen Gunnion the company has reported $874,000 in new customer contract value and 160 new customer contracts, with software gross margins of 92%. He describes these as proof points of a new phase of growth for the AI-powered event technology business. Gappelberg says average contract value is up 77% and that the company is increasingly signing three-year deals rather than one-year deals, providing greater revenue visibility. Enterprise customers including Microsoft, Meta, Google, Deloitte, and BNP Paribas are among those buying from the company's three platforms: Eventdex, MapD, and KraftyLabs. On KraftyLabs, Gappelberg says it is the most underappreciated platform Nextech currently owns, and that the company is building it into an AI-first corporate culture platform with an AI avatar layer set to launch in the coming weeks. Gappelberg also reveals that Nextech is imminently close to signing what he calls the biggest deal in the company's history, describing it as a multimillion-dollar contract he expects to close in August. He says this deal, combined with 92% gross margins, will significantly accelerate the path to profitability and cash flow. How El Niño Will Supercharge Global Inflation

It’s been 23 weeks since the U.S. began strikes on Iran, and we’re still in the midst of what feels like the hundredth attempt at peace talks. President Donald Trump said this week that a deal to reopen the Strait of Hormuz was close, but warned that strikes could resume if talks fall apart. This week I’m diving into El Niño, and how the sheer strength of this year’s weather event means that its effects will extend well beyond agriculture profit margins—it will hurt global central banks’ efforts to curb inflation.

Google’s $15 billion India data center challenged by activists

<body><p>STORY: "A $15 billion investment that promised 188,000 jobs. That's the pitch behind Google's planned data center in India. But for environmentalists, it's a threat to wildlife and water supply."</p><p>:: Munsif Vengattil, Reuters India Technology Correspondent</p><p>:: Bengaluru, India / August 6, 2026</p><p>:: Google’s $15 billion India data center project battles water, wildlife concerns</p><p>:: Visakhapatnam, India / August 3, 2026</p><p>"This dispute, it centers on where this is being built. The site in the port city of Visakhapatnam, also known as Vizag, it sits near forests, reservoirs, and wildlife sanctuary buffers on in a city that is already facing water shortages. Activists, they say clearances were fast-tracked without assessing the impact on the city's water supply or on local wildlife.&nbsp;</p><p>"The city has already seen at least five street marches, also some round table discussions around the concerns of this project. There have been at least four cases, including in the state's top court, as well as the environmental tribunal in India, all asking for the project work to be halted because of the environmental concerns."</p><p>"Google has given us a very detailed statement for the story saying the project will be complying with all applicable laws on water. They say they will use air cooling technology in the data center facility, which will significantly reduce the water usage."</p><p>"On the wildlife concerns, Google says in their words, they're going to be a silent neighbor because they're gonna use sound dampening fans as well as landscape buffers."</p><p>"The state of Andhra Pradesh has responded to Reuters in a statement. They have said that the concerns of activists are incorrect and misleading, but said that they are open to feedback. They have added that the protesters have every right to protest. And it is open to corrections if it finds that there is any legitimacy to the claims."</p></body>
