Coinbase Global said Friday that it has sought regulatory approval to list perpetual futures tied to individual large-cap U.S. stocks. Perpetual futures, known as “perps,” are speculative derivative contracts that never expire, allowing traders to pile on leverage that amplifies their potential gains and losses.
